Fashion Summer Camps
Have you thought about a career in fashion or just started thinking about what you might want to major in during college? Would you like to learn how buyers select merchandise for their stores or what goes on behind-the-scenes in a showroom or design studio in NYC? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then we are excited to let you know we will be offering two in-person sessions of our Fashion Summer Camp for high school students in 2025. They are designed for students entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach the students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider's perspective.
Fashion Summer Camp
Session A: June 22 - 27, 2025
Session B: July 13- 18, 2025
Each week is packed with visits to key players in the fashion industry, participating in fun educational shopping trips, attending an assortment planning seminar to learn how the buying process works and taking part in a photoshoot in Central Park with a professional photographer. You will visit a fashion exhibit at a well-known museum and enjoy group dinners together each evening. On the final night of camp we will enjoy a manicure/pedicure spa treatment to unwind and relax.
Students stay in a hotel in Midtown Manhattan with other Banson NYC students with a Resident Advisor chaperoning the group. Our program begins at 3:00 pm on Sunday and ends by 5:00 pm on Friday. We accept applications on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of 20 participants accepted.
